Scientific Work

The laboratory staff developed and implemented in the practice of experimental research a model of experimental colitis in different species of animals, a model of acute and chronic experimental pancreatitis, a model of chronic cholecystitis, a model of acute limited purulent staphylococcal endometritis in guinea pigs, a model of hepatic insufficiency, a model of chronic LPS-induced chronic neoplastic endotoxemia, a model of chronic neoplastic endogenous intoxication with induction of colon adenocarcinoma.

The results of experimental studies have allowed to develop new methods of detoxification and restorative therapy using modern sorption agents: plant sorption factors Carnitine chloride and Algigel, multifunctional carbon enterosorbents of IV generation GSHD and Carboline, as well as to investigate the effect of neoplastic intoxication on the cerebral cortex, to propose the determination of morphometric parameters of the spleen as an indirect marker of oncogenesis.

All new methods of experimental modeling of pathological processes and methods of their correction developed and implemented in the field of health care are protected by security documents of Ukraine.

Algorithm for selecting the timing and volume of surgery in patients with ulcerative duodenal hemorrhage based on immunomorphological assessment of the factors of protection of periulcerosis, ulcerative destruction, the likelihood of bleeding and the scale of surgical risk conditions of concomitant pathology was developed and implemented in the practice of surgical departments.

Endoscopic-immunomorphological monitoring of activity, dynamics and prognosis of duodenal ulcer complicated by bleeding, which is now widely used in clinical departments of surgery, is proposed.
